Caprese Salad with Vinegar

INGREDIENTS

○ 4-6 medium tomatoes

○ 1 piece of fresh mozzarella cheese

○ 4 tablespoons of Esti extra virgin olive oil

○ 5 basil leaves, crushed

○ 4-6 tablespoons Papadimitriou Classic Balsamic Vinegar Reduction

○ Salt and pepper to taste

 

PREPARATION

  1. Cut the tomatoes, in slices, quarters or halves, according to your taste or according to how you want to present the salad.
  2. Cut the fresh mozzarella into slices or quarters, or leave it whole, depending on your taste or desired presentation. To accommodate you can alternate a slice of cheese with a tomato.
  3. Drizzle Mozzarella Tomato Salad with Esti Olive Oil and Esti Balsamic Vinegar Reduction.
  4. Place the basil leaves to decorate and serve immediately.

For the caprese salad with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella pearls:

  1. Use cherry or grape tomatoes, you can leave them whole or cut them in halves.
  2. Put the mozzarella cheese pearls (ciliegine) in a bowl, add the Esti extra virgin olive oil and basil and mix well.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle with the Papadimitriou balsamic reduction just before serving.
