INGREDIENTS
○ 4-6 medium tomatoes
○ 1 piece of fresh mozzarella cheese
○ 4 tablespoons of Esti extra virgin olive oil
○ 5 basil leaves, crushed
○ 4-6 tablespoons Papadimitriou Classic Balsamic Vinegar Reduction
○ Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
- Cut the tomatoes, in slices, quarters or halves, according to your taste or according to how you want to present the salad.
- Cut the fresh mozzarella into slices or quarters, or leave it whole, depending on your taste or desired presentation. To accommodate you can alternate a slice of cheese with a tomato.
- Drizzle Mozzarella Tomato Salad with Esti Olive Oil and Esti Balsamic Vinegar Reduction.
- Place the basil leaves to decorate and serve immediately.
For the caprese salad with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella pearls:
- Use cherry or grape tomatoes, you can leave them whole or cut them in halves.
- Put the mozzarella cheese pearls (ciliegine) in a bowl, add the Esti extra virgin olive oil and basil and mix well.
- Add cherry tomatoes.
- Drizzle with the Papadimitriou balsamic reduction just before serving.
