The Rougie duck confit with duck fat from 6 to 8 thighs has an incomparable flavour, softness and colour. And for this reason, it has become an indisputable benchmark for all lovers of duck meat and those curious about its flavor.
It has been made in the traditional way since 1875 in the town of Sarlat-La-Caneda in the French region of Perigord.
To guarantee optimal quality, Rougie fully masters the traditional French confit method. Rougie also certifies that all selected meats come from a duck raised and fattened on a diet containing 100% plants, minerals and vitamins.

Use
There is nothing easier! To prepare the confit, it is advisable to heat it slightly to remove excess fat and then heat the meat in the oven. You can use the fat from the confit to prepare the garnish. Serve hot with potatoes or salad.
